Week of January 6 - Fun Time At The Park

Emily loves going to the park. And Emily loves to ride around on her tricycle. So now days, we bring her tricycle with us as she loves to pedal along the pathways. I have been amazed at the distance that she will pedal before she gets either tired or loses interest. We follow along (almost briskly sometimes because she can pedal quite fast these days, and Emily makes the choices which way she wants to travel along the pathways.







And after the park, Emily insisted that we do one of her other favorite fun things, go shopping. So we stopped off to do some grocery shopping, and Emily was a happy camper. Grocery shopping used to be so simple, but now days, Emily has definite opinions about certain things and will tell us she what she wants. It is rare for example that we go through the produce section without Emily pointing out the bananas and asking for us to buy some.
