So first off, Emily thinks she owns the first floor of the house now, in addition to complete rights and free run to the upstairs. We have to keep an eye on her lest she head up the stairs whenever she feels like (dad still has an action to install the downstairs gate on the stairs, dad is a slacker!). This is a cute photo of Emily dressed up in one of her favorite vests....errr I mean one of dad's favorite vests for Emily rather :) As I recall, when this photo was snapped, Emily was heading directly for me and had motives to snag the camera and make off with it.

Grandpa came over last night and brought some tasty dinner treats for Emily and Mom. Some home cooked Shanghainese food, and a couple of tid bits of DimSum for Emily as well. So I thought I would snap a photo of grandpa, baby, and mom enjoying the meal. Ummm... that would be a DimSum puff pastry filled with meat and veggie that Emily is munching down on there.

Lately we have been having a real problem keeping Emily's socks on, since she thinks it is soooooo much fun to pull them off and toss them. So mom had the great idea to get her into some slippers instead. So we went off to Mervins and picked up some little mucluc style pink slippers for Emily. Well the good news is she really likes them, they keep her feet warm, and as you can see in the photo below she remains quite mobile in them. The downside however is she quickly figured out how to pull these off too, so mom's idea really didn't pan out too well. And if mom puts socks on under those muclucs, then we now have socks and slippers to keep track of as Emily leaves a trail behind her :) I guess there is a little bit of country farmer girl in Emily as she loves to go barefeet.

Will post another blog update on Friday or Saturday to share Thanksgiving events with you, so stay tuned :)
