As is our family custom, we meet for a family get together with Nancy's extended family on Christmas Eve. It is a time for the children to do gift exchanges, to enjoy some holiday cheer and a meal together. This first photo has instantly become one of my very favorites as it shows Emily curled up in Nancy's arms on Christmas Eve giggling and having lots of fun. My beautiful daughter and my beautiful wife enjoying time together on Christmas Eve.
Christmas morning was very exciting for Emily as she came down stairs and the very first thing she saw was her very own baby piano. Her eyes sparkled as she yelled "PIANO!" and ran over to sit down and pretend to perform her very best solo piano session. :)
Christmas is all about Emily these days in our home. Emily was completely focused on opening presents, Nancy was there to lend a hand as needed and to organize the presents for Emily to open, and I was where all good dads belong (behind the camera, catching photo moments of Emily). And with that, I'd like to share some of my captured photos of Emily (and Nancy) on Christmas morning.
Oh, and my other very important Daddy duty, putting together the train set so Emily can have fun running the train around the TRAX. :)
