There were two favorite pass times of the family in China during our vacation stay, 1) competing for Emily's attention, and 2) the ever popular pass time of feeding Emily. So it is entirely appropriate that I pick a couple photos along those lines to share here. This first photo is one of our nieces feeding Emily at lunch time. Still very much out little "baby bird" who will cheerfully take offered food from some chop sticks.
And this next photo shows Emily with one of her Aunties in China. This photo is of particular importance as this was the Auntie that Emily took the longest to warm up to. So to have a great photo of them both smiling together is a great Kodak moment. Emily made her Auntie's day with this one captured moment.
Nancy and I Make a point to bring the family gifts when we come to China. Last time we were there, we brought gold gem pendents for each of our three nieces. This time around, we brought each family a shiny new Canon Elph digital camera. These were a big hit because we bought them in the US and brought them to China for them. Nancy set the language settings to Chinese on the cameras, and also snagged some Mandarin user manuals off the Internet, and I popped 2 GIG memories into them. They were a big hit and the families immediately began snapping photos left and right. So in this first photo, we get to see everyone checking out the new cameras.
The last photo I wanted to share was one of Nancy with one of her cousins. Of all our family in China, she is my favorite. She is very sweet, very kind hearted, and Emily warmed right up to her on the first day.
