I promised Emily earlier in the week that we would take a trolley ride over the weekend. And indeed we did. Emily loves the Trolley. So we took the trolley down to one of the large shopping malls here and from there went on a shopping expedition. As usual, we ended up with some great new clothing for Emily. Nancy however was frustrated that she did not find any great new clothing for herself. Oh well. :)
One of the things we always do is to let Emily spend some time at the center fountain at the mall. Emily is very much an extrovert so any chance to meet and interact with other kids is big time fun for Emily. And then of course there is the fountain. Emily thinks the fountain is way cool and that there is great fun and giggles getting her hands wet in the fountain.
As we can see, Emily is not shy about climbing the fountain wall to meet her objectives either. :)
Do we have any issue with Emily going all the way into the fountain? Well, not yet, but considering she is getting more and more daredevil, that day is coming soon I think.
This will be our last blog post for the next few weeks as we are packed and ready to travel to China for vacation and to meet. We leave on the 2nd of May and will be out of the country for 2 weeks. Emily is very excited to get on the big plane to China. While there, we will visit Nancy's family in Hefei. They have not seen Emily since she was 8 months old, so this is going to be fun and exciting for everyone.
